I'm not one for the food of Kings, obviously. I'm not into caviar and now I know I am not into truffles either. It was not an unpleasant taste, but it had a slightly odd taste that I desperately tried to make mushroomy but couldn't. Neil was equally disappointed. He's had truffles before and said this one was very mild and nothing special.
So, we won't be searching for truffles anymore - cancel the pig!
